The Assassin's Curse
Ananna of the Tanarau abandons ship when her parents try to marry her off to another pirate clan. But that only prompts the scorned clan to send an assassin after her. When Ananna faces him down one night, armed with magic she doesn't really know how to use, she accidentally activates a curse binding them together.
To break the spell, Ananna and the assassin must complete three imposible tasks -- all while grappling with evil wizards, floating islands, haughty manticores, runaway nobility, strange magic... and the growing romantic tension between them.
Ananna de los Tanarau abandona el barco cuando sus padres intentan casarla con el heredero de otro de los clanes pirata. Sin embargo, eso sólo provoca que el clan, sintiéndose menospreciado, envíe tras ella un asesino. Cuando Ananna se enfrenta a él una noche, armada con una magia que no sabe cómo utilizar, activa accidentalmente una maldición que los vincula el uno al otro.
Para romper el hechizo, Ananna y el asesino deberán completar tres trabajos imposibles; y todo eso mientras lidian con magos malvados, islas flotantes, mantícoras arrogantes, nobles fugitivos, magia extraña... y una creciente tensión romántica entre ellos.
